I'm really happy you wrote this blog. It feels like some people can't even post their opions without them being attacked by others. I think everyone should be allowed to think what they want (unless it's illegal or could hurt someone else) and no one should be able to tel you any differently.

I always feel like a jerk when I ask specifically for no fanfiction and no romance in my story contests, because I feel like the people on the other end of the line are grumbling at how judgemental I am and how I should accept anything because "oh, it's all writing, it's all an escape". I don't give a damn what it is to you (you being general), if I don't want to read slash I'm not going to read slash and that's that.

Also, you can't call homophobic on someone who's dated both genders seriously. I feel like disliking slash makes me seem homophobic.
