Me too. I would rather not deal with it. If they really cared about me, they wouldn't try that, right? Aha, that's my philosophy.

I'm the same way. Only if that happens I usually just crawl under a rock and die instead. I get scared and cut it off.

    @ kitsch
    That makes complete sense.

    @ Khaleesi;
I'm never that bad, it's just when I'm geeking about something I tend to switch from very normal speech TO ALL OF THE SUDDEN BEING REALLY EXCITED OMFG AHHHHH. Yeah, aha.

    @ Charity M. Lewis
    I am back!
Yeah, stricter about a whole lot of stuff recently.

    @ aubs
Unfortunately, it happens to me. This seems to be the way guys think is the way to get me to like them. No buddy, you just make me sad.

I'm the same way. I am a very negative thinker, so if some guy does that to me, which has never happened before, I think I'd get more depressed than jealous.

Yeah, what Rianne said, it's all in moderation. A blog like:
omg i had tha werst day ever i cant believe i even went to school bc it was rainin n my hair ws wet n wen it dryed it frizzed liek wtffffffff!!!@@!@
    vs

Omg. Today has just been awful. It rained all day and my hair was frizzy, ugh. I looked like a poofball, lol.

Something to that effect. Usually excessive anything is a bad thing.

Yeah, no problem. We're all adjusting to it even though the rule's there.

What matters is effort in writing the blog post, so everything is proper enough that people get what you're saying. That's what I see it as now.

I may be a little late to the discussion, but still, it's kind of a bummer. But thanks for the heads up.

You can use "lol" or "omg" actually, as long as it isn't excessive. That's the grey area of the rule and what's been discussed. Shifty So.
