it's kind of the other way around for me. i personally find it easier to write original, so when i do write fanfic (i'm currently writing an anime-related one) it's like don't even want to think about it. it's really frightening because i have to stick to a certain storyline and just

Story comments just make me too anxious for words because of that anticipation for the worst.

That's how I feel too! I'm completely terrified that I'm going to post something that has so much more meaning to me than a fan fiction (which definitely means a lot to me) and it's going to be torn to shreds! I feel like I'm exposing myself to be so much more vulnerable.

I definitely have been there many times; that place where you feel so on edge about posting original fiction. The first batch of stories I posted on Mibba are actually original fiction, and each time I was so scared for my characters and the plot and just everything. Because ultimately, I'm the one writing down their stories so I'd feel guilty as hell if the responses to them were tearing it apart.

I have that same feeling! I want to post it sooo bad but then I'm afarid that no one will read it or give me horrible feedback on how it burned their eyes just trying to read through my crappy writing. I'm always nervous that if I post it and no one likes it I'll convince myself that it sucks too and I won't love it as much as I did before.
