@ charity_hope Eyyy! You should've known not to read it on the first place then! Hahaha! But yeah.. I don't know I feel so attached to this show that it's not a matter of cuteness anymore. Oh I'm too obsessed
SPOILER!! I haven't watched the whole season 9 because I waited until the last episode and just gonna have a HIMYM season 9 marathon. Oh... I shouldn't read this blog. *runs away in the corner and hates myself*
Lol! Just kidding. I don't really care about the spoiler. But I admit. I was bummed when reading this blog. I mean, I was actually rooting for Barney and Robin. They're just too cute together. But... ah well.
@ The Dude Hmm I kinda have to disagree with you about Barney. They make his character so inconsistent! I mean, I do love the fact that he stopped being a whore, but the writers were like turning him into his old self and back into his kind self in under an hour. Oh HIMYM
@ ptvjaime I agree with everything you said. I think to have everything crammed up in under an hour was just extremely disappointing, when they could have stretched it out into a few episodes. Eliminate episodes like Gary Blauman and replace them with one where Robin and Barney got divorced, or when he had a child, or when Lily and Marshal decided to move out. That would have been perfect.
I think the finale underscored nine years of character development. We spent all these seasons watching them grow and change as people just to have it underscored in one hour. If they wanted to make it convincing, they shouldn't have crammed it all in. It was just shoddy writing.
The creators knew how it was gonna end from the very beginning. They said it all started with the image of how the last episode would go. So yup..they knew.
I hated it. I mean. It was good. But I hated it. Sure the whole thing was about Robin but... I dunno. All of season nine was a drag but... whatever.
I do like that Barney had a kid and stopped being a whore.
