    @ fallin maria.
I kind of just laugh when I see complaints about either one of those things, especially periods in story titles. To not read a story just because there's a period in the title is just like O_O to me. But to each their own, I suppose.

i agree with pretty much everything you've said tehe
especially the commenting on your own story one because i do that and the full stop and the end of a story title.

I agree! I could care less how people respond back! Just the fact that the are replying is a kind gesture!

You seriously don't even have to give a reason for doing it. It's your story, your comments, and however you choose to reply is for you to decide. I mean, if you (meaning you, in general) don't like it, then don't read other people's story comments, ya know? Post your comment and be on your way. Not to be mean but it's really that easy. Lol.

    @ kayyish
YES. Isn't it in the rules that you have to double space your story, too? I think it is, but I'm not entirely sure. Either way, I agree.

    @ Cashews
That's exactly my point. It's your story, you should be able to do what you want. But I've seen a lot of complaints about that. Like I said above, it's really very easy to just not go through and read the author's story comments, ya know? Post your comment, if you so choose, and then be on your way.

If I want to reply to comments on my story then I can. Why would people complain about that?

I agree with you, none of those things bother me. I think those reasons are a little silly to get annoyed. Especially with the comment swap.

One thing that does get on my nerves is when I go to read a story and they don't space out their paragraphs/dialogue/single line sentences. I hate to admit it but it really turns me off when I go to read a story. And it kills me because sometimes the author has a good thing going on. I use to voice my opinion on it but then most find that kind of criticism to be rude and then they go on a rant so I've just been like okay, cause I'll find something else to read. It's also more so, my brain can't comprehend the story whatsoever when it's like that.

I am one of those authors that does reply to comments in my story comments because when i originally started I didn't know there was another way! Now I just do it because yes it is easier and I will reply to multiple comments in one comment so it doesn't add a ton to mine (mind you I did not know how to do this either at first!) It has nothing to do with looking like I have more comments, it is just easier to me to keep discussions confined to one area!
