My mum was the same because my hair is naturally blonde in the most unnatural-looking way. It was very blonde. Though once I said I was going to do it for sure and not jus contemplating it she got over it. That's the key. Be demanding.

Ugh I should! My dad has been giving me the stink eye every time I bring it up, though. He likes my jet black (and boring) hair too much. Maybe I should do it after I finish high school and move out hahaha.

I totally encourage you to do it. It took me years to work up the courage. If I can do it, you can do it. I believe in you! Go forth, spread your mighty wings and soar away (towards the nearest pharmacy for cheap hair dye).
