This is one of the most honest and beautiful post that I have ever read. I love how you will never change for what society wants, never fall into the pressure of perfection. To be your self, to accept your self and the flaws that we as humans have, this post was so inspirational to me. Writing is a great way to express your self and thank you for sharing a simple piece of you by these words

Oh, well, my parents don't agree with you. They deem me as immature and inconsiderate, though the latter may be true.

It confuses me, though. Where is all this maturity coming from? Eighth grade has done weird things to me.

My god, I wish I wasn't just fourteen. It feels like I've been fourteen forever when it's only been five months. Thank you, though. I think the maturity comes from how I was raised. My brother and I have always been mature.

Are you joking? I've known you for less than a year and you seem way more mature than most adults I know.

You honestly blow me away sometimes. It's easy for me to forget that you're just fourteen and I don't mean that to sound negative. Because you are not "just fourteen." You are you. Undefined by your age. Undefined by your skin color. You are just you. You act and speak well beyond your years. The maturity and wisdom you show astounds me. You are special and don't let anyone ever tell you differently.
