Yes, I may be taking it personally but I'm not saying I'm upset over losing the reader, maybe I didn't clarify myself enough, I'm annoyed because while they declared they loved it they let a small mistake stop them from reading the rest of the story, not every story is perfect, there are going to be mistakes in stories. If you think you'll love it then let the author know their mistakes and either move on from the story or try continue reading it, don't leave a paragraph or longer on a story on why you couldn't get passed it.

Exactly, it was a small mistake, I fixed it within seconds, went through the rest of my chapters and double checked (probably missed some!), sigh, I honestly love concrit but this one was just.... disappointing haha.

This is becoming all to common - Honestly, I think it's just because people can't appreciate something, and prefer to make big deals out of the little things.

I guess they didn't like your story enough to stick around. the plot has to be really good for people to overlook mistakes. And if they couldn't get pass chapter two......maybe you might want to check your other chapters because while it was two in that chapter, you could have made that mistake in the chapter proceeding it.

Though i honestly feel like you're taking this too personally. So you lost a reader, you and other writers on this site and in the world.

Even the greatest of novels are NEVER perfect in this world.
    Perfect is a mere illusion.
I read over my past stories and I notice the mistake right and there, but it never bothers me.
Same goes with other people's writing.
It never bothers me, unless it is constantly repetitive with each sentence.
That's pretty crappy for that to happen to you. :C
    Your writing is amazing!
    if that helps xD
