On Things and Stuff (Letters to People Who Won't Read Them) - Comments

  • @ oliver scott sykes;
    Yeah, I was more than a little irked. I mean, I personally don't have any experience with the matter--precisely the reason I tend not to make judgments about it--but just. Seeing that EVERYWHERE first thing when I get to campus for a final exam after an hour of sleep. I was pissed.

    I forgot to mention the note that said "THERE WOULD BE FEWER ABORTIONS OF WOMBS HAD WINDOWS!" Maybe. But there would DEFINITELY be fewer abortions if all women had equal access to comprehensive sex education, sexual health resources, and affordable contraceptives. Yet the same people saying they want fewer abortions are also saying they want to limit access to those things 85% of the time, so there we are.

  • I feel like had I seen that written all over the sidewalks, I would have promptly poured water all over them to get rid of them. Oopsie. My mother is one of the women who gave birth and then later had an abortion. Why? Cause her body was shutting down and the baby was going to die anyway because of a medicine she was on. I could shake these types of people by the collar.
