I've been here for like six years, so I don't remember that much, but I do remember the star system well... I managed to snag ten stars once. I was so proud :). I remember the whole comment attack thing too on new members. You signed up and got like 200 comments on your profile in 24 hours. I made so many friends with that. It's been a wild ride with all the changes.
YES!! the new member comments! i made so many friends that way and I miss it!

    REMEMBER WHEN. OMFG
    YES! i remember this too!!!

I've been here for probably 7 years.. It's been an off and on relationship, really. It was really on during my Jonas Brothers phase so I probably read every story about them. But ever since that it's just not the same. Now I'm just here to reminisce.

But wow I miss the old mibba and those two things up there really just made me miss it!

OK, I HAD THIS ONE STORY AND I HAD 9 STARS ON IT AND I WORKED SO HARD FOR THOSE STARS AND I WAS SO CLOSE TO GETTING 10 STARS AND THEN MIBBA CHANGED ITSELF AND GOT RID OF THE STAR SYSTEM.

And now I will never know what it's like to have a 10-star story. I'm still a little bitter, if you couldn't already tell. But I digress.

I do miss the custom profiles though! I changed mine literally every other week lmfao I had more friends on the old Mibba than I do now. A bunch of them left, I guess. I miss coming on here and having new profile comments and messages and stuff. Oh well.

I remember the star system. 10 subscribers earned you one star, 50 readers earned you one star, if I'm not mistaken. Shifty

I also remember back when our profiles used to be just a blank white space for our about section and lots of people decorate their profiles by putting videos and images and quote and stuff (of course this was before the custom layout was introduced). It always bugged me because it was so slow to load the profile of those who had a gazillion of videos. lmfao

And I remember when Blogs were called Journals and at one point, there was a Favorite Author feature. Weird I'm not sure where that went.

Ah, well... I guess everything changes. The users grew up so did mibba. Right now, I'm just flowing with the flow. Yes, I miss the old mibba, so much. But this mibba is okay too (although, I would appreciate it more if it stops lagging every now and then). tehe

Ah, old mibba, like a years long best friend who had quirks and personality before she became popular and ditched you for the "In Crowd."

I miss the stars, thinking about them makes me sad. I know they didn't work perfectly, but it always felt nice--and reaffirming in a way--when I looked at my stories and saw nothing but rows of blue stars. Tens all around. Made me feel special, it did haha.

I remember when mibba meant family--now you're lucky if you get a neighbor who doesn't steal your newspaper and let their dog shit on your lawn. Metaphorically, of course. Shocked

Looking back is sad, it feels like forever ago. Damn, I'm getting old hahaha.

Holy crap, old mibba. I've been on mibba since near to the beginning. My friend has been here longer. Being the 13th person to ever sign up. REALLY old Mibba was hard to live on. When I signed up there were 1055 other people and no one wanted to read ANYTHING I wrote, granted, I was a horrible writer.

I was probably on one of my many breaks for the stars because I don't really remember them. I always hated layout updates and the old profiles were AMAZING, I would spend HOURS trying to get my layout perfect.

I do like the story layout creator option, though! The moment they said there was one, I was on and creating layouts, because the, I dunno, 10, they had were SO over used and boring haha.

    -sigh- Old Mibba.

i completely forgot about the stars. i think what i remember the most is the journal section and how they all had questions at the end and if someone really wanted their journal read they'd really emphasize on the questions tehe

and i remember back in the day every story was either to do with hockey or scene queen romances Think

Omg the stars. When I first joined, like...six years ago, I think, I thought you voted for stories, too, like you do on Quizilla. I like new Mibba a lot but I do miss the stars, profiles, birthday balloons 'n such.

sigh, old Mibba. I've been on Mibba for four years this past January and the old site, from all the screenshots and whatnot, is exactly what I remember. Sometimes I get really sad because I miss the old Mibba. I used to welcome new members all the time because it was right there on the homepage, but now the feature is gone. I don't even know where to find it now. After the new Mibba, I didn't really bother to look. I was also much more active on the forums before the new Mibba. I dunno. I just don't like the site as much as I used to.
I also remember the balloons and seeing so many different forum threads wishing people happy birthday. It was awesome.

    @ colibri
Honestly, I preferred the "the old new Mibba" because I don't like how wide and boring the site looks now. I didn't even get why people were so upset over the girl. I didn't mind her.

I definitely remember the old Mibba, I think I joined it a year or so after it came about, so I'm one of the old members. The star system was actually quite cool, it would be nice if that could somehow be brought back and incorporated with the system that we have now for the stories, but that's just my opinion.

OH MY GOSH. THAT KANYE WEST PIC. I REMEMBER THAT.

::sob: Now I just want to cry. I miss Old Mibba so much. I can't stop reminiscing to the better days. Not that I don't love New Mibba. I just wish that, just for a day or two, we could go back to Old Mibba.

I miss making the css code for my profile. We could edit and our profiles could have colorful graphics! I miss the star system so freaking much! I would literally get up from my computer and dance when my stories would hit ten stars. I also remember when the story board was mostly full of either My Chem stories and Avenged Sevenfold! Sigh. That's been so long, long ago it feels like.

THE STAR SYSTEM OH MY GOSH. I used to hate that because my stories never got stars. XD

I miss old Mibba, in a way. I don't even remember how it looked now myself because I think I was about a year on it? I've been on the site five years next month so I'd say about a year or so anyway.

    @ colibri
I don't even understand why everyone was so mad about the cartoon lady. I thought she was pretty cool. tehe
