All of that makes sense. I mean, I have this thing with this guy. We like each other, have been on dates, have cuddled and kissed, but we're not rushing into the actual relationship part (bad past experiences). What I do with him is what I'd do with someone I'm involved with. I think it's all about the labels you want to place.
Oh, and holding doors open is quite nice, too. I didn't think males did that anymore.
I've had friends who changed because of who they were with, or they spent all their time with the guy and I never saw them.
@ kitsch Oh no, I was referring to me and the guy I'm seeing I feel like he'd pull that on me (jokingly) if I asked him to carry something for me. My friends never hold my stuff because and I quote, "Alex you're always going on about being an independent black woman so surely you can carry your own shit."
