@ man.down Death is something to mourn, and after the fact, it's also a chance to celebrate this person's life. Handling such judgement as to negate her importance in the world is sick to me, as well as equally invalidating her reason to end her life. It breaks my heart that she's gone, despite not knowing her, because she was a person. She is a person, yet she's no longer living. We're all people. Some of us commit suicide with no apparent justification aside from depression. We don't require reasons in order to feel sad.
I remember after the girl died people on Tumblr continued to make fun of her and I even saw what was supposed to be her dead body on a slab in a morgue. It was probably photoshopped but it was completely naked and people were making comments like, "She was hot, I wish I could fuck her corpse," or something. I was so completely violently repulsed by that, I'll never forget it. (Sorry for commenting again I just wanted to get that off my chest)
@ pet sounds My thoughts exactly. I was surprised by the sympathy shown, but it didn't make me feel any less uneasy watching it. It's just all wrong in my opinion. This is why I'm so upset by the girl's words. She's not alive, it's not her fault people made a larger deal about her death than others, yet she gets criticized so. Let her rest in peace and quiet, for chrissake.
Suicide is nothing to ever joke about, or even give criticism about - which, it seems like the girl was doing. This just makes me so mad, like God damn - how dare she say that kids have killed themselves over better reasons? Everyone has their own reasons - and it doesn't mean jack shit if you don't understand them.
