Thanks! I'm going to e-mail my teacher tonight and tell him that I wasn't asking whether or not he thinks it's possible, just if school would allow it... and then just defend why I can do it and stuff... I don't wanna give up without a fight! Haha

This is awesome, and I try to be the same way with my goals and whatnot. But I've noticed that a lot of teachers and other authority figures assume that everyone wants the "easy way out" these days. They always assume that we all just want what will get us by in life, not what we will thrive upon. They should be the ones encouraging us to push ourselves farther, not forcing us back. Sigh.
