He's very smart and well-educated on economics and politics, but I don't think he graduated college. He's 28. Almost 30. That's hard.

I adore certain groups. With Zipkrowd, they are mostly mechanical-based; they build machines and computers and then make them do awesome things. Mindcrack is just pure entertainment, they're all about friends and fun and jokes.

Otherkin, basically, means you identify in some way with something outside of humanity. For example, if someone is a dragonkin, it means they might be spiritually connected to dragons or have dragonlike feelings or tendencies. It sounds weird, but it's really not. (Codekin is so rad. It's like... viewing yourself as a computer, a programme.) And we're all "?????" about it, it's such an adapting and malleable topic that really nothing is wrong. Good friends with plantkin, catkin, dragonkin, faekin, robotkin, spacekin, and everything else.

Aaaaa, me too! Maybe I'll get some ribs or something tomorrow because despite my desperate vegetarianism I really want meatfood now.

I'm sure he'd have to work pretty damn hard if YT did shut down, technical skills but no degree aside. Think Freelance work is tough enough without the platform. Hm. But being self-employed means he pays a lot in taxes, from my understanding (according to people I know who were / are self-employed) so he must be careful with his finances. Or writes things off as expenses for his work. Which is plausible as well. Shifty

It takes a lot for me to subscribe to someone and consistently want to watch their videos, so it's all cool. There are too many different things to watch on YT.

You've just opened the whole door of otherkin to me since I previously associated it with fantasy novels from like the 1800s. Something like that, it was that foggy to me. Think Dysphoria in general is a grey area from what I've read and heard of so that makes sense. I'm keeping that in mind. Trying not to think of how utterly "??????" I am when I talk to most people, esp. you, about intellectual topics on here. XD I seem to leave the details out sometimes and end up rambling for five paragraphs and still not get my point clearly stated.

Happy face STOP IT JAMES AAAH. Now I want to get my butt down to a crab shack with the bib and bucket and corn on the cob and everything. My dad didn't like it but my ma and I enjoyed it.

One of the guys I watch, called Vechs, lives off of his income from YouTube and Minecraft mapmaking. He's self-employed and a freelance gamer, basically living the life. But if YouTube shuts down, he's got no college degree, so he's done.

I get that. I watch mostly one German group (ZipKrowd) and one general group (Mindcrack), that's about it.

I have good friends who are robotkin, spacekin, and codekin (really the only 3 otherkin types I'd ever relate to, off topic) and they've had enough encounters with these people to know about their intent. Truscum just means you believe a trans or otherkin being has to experience genital dysphoria to be truly trans. It's a general term though. And you can never be too forward with me! I don't ever find things like that offensive.

Crab is like the best food ever. Happy face The melted butter and fresh meat? Yes. Especially when it had been caught just hours ago and already boiled and cooked just in time to eat. It's like eating food straight from whatever positive afterlife you believe in.

I understand that. The Vlogbrothers video on YT culture / idol culture, whatever it's called, sums up my "general" thoughts on it though. The negatives outweigh the positives with the "big shot" ones making it worse for the smaller YTers. Just take a look at Vidcon where people swarm around the people with huge followings and the YTer sexual assault scandals. It's mayhem. But good cannot exist without bad/evil; such is life.

Personally, I enjoy a handful of gaming channels as well but if YT was like Netflix (which some YTers are aiming for---a paid channel subscription) then I can live without it. I hope that makes sense and seem less of a dbag. Probably not. But oh well.

I haven't heard of that one. Think The more you know, courtesy of James.
My friends just label me as a feminist because I lean towards it and am educated on it and what-have-you, so I let them. To me, I'm just a heterosexual (or cis, since we're being PC) female. Plain. I'm keeping your preference in mind though because I thought it was too forward to ask if you preferred "he" since you keep your gender as the male symbol. Your whole paragraph just enlightened me greatly.

You should try it with hoisin sauce / duck sauce then. Yes If you haven't, I mean. It's like Chinese BBQ sauce for duck.
I'll just never understand the complexities of the mercury-laden raw seafood delicacies. (No but really, watching The Cove made me even more wary of seafood. Of course. As if steroid-laden poultry and mad cow disease wasn't enough paranoia. Facepalm) Crab is soooo good though, I agree. I'm so impatient about extracting the "meat" from the claws and stuff though. XD

Yeah. A lot of people, though, entertaining is their best feature, and YouTube gives them a way to do so for money, to make a living.

Those people, well. In the otherkin community they're called truscum and truscum aren't accepted by anyone but other truscum. Personally, I'm the stereotype asexual aromantic: sex-avoidant, romance-avoidant, focused on myself more than a significant other. And of course trans women are real women. Trans men are real men, too. Neither makes you less of who you are. And don't get me started on pronouns. I use he/him pronouns and she/her, because some people aren't comfortable calling me "he" and others can't see me as a "her". It's complicated. To clear confusion, I'm biologically female.

I don't think so, just the breast. I'll eat it if it smells and looks edible, and maybe even if it doesn't. Sushi is so good though. And when I liked in Alaska, a friend of ours was a commercial fisherman and we always had sea-fresh king crab! Happy face

Yeah, then it could be like that "Tumblr Savior" extension where you can choose which tags to filter out; makes sense. I'm not getting into YT paychecks. Shifty Touchy subject. YT isn't going to last forever, that's all I'm going to say. Everyone wants to be the next Pewdiepie and even Felix is smart enough to put his cash in the bank before YT dries up as a platform.

Definitely sucks. That's true though, what irks me about the LGBTQA* community is some people within it who think if you don't do xyz, you're not a TRUE "trans*" "asexual" etcetera. It's frustrating. Ostracizing people who are supposed to be part of an accepting, fluid community? Just. No. Some people not accepting trans* women as "not *****REAL***** woman" is still such a big issue, amongst a plethora of others. The victimizing can get out of hand with simple constructive criticism though, i.e. "instead of spewing hatred, would you please try to use certain pronouns correctly in regards to x individual?" or something is interpreted as "you are a hater hater hater." Facepalm

Awh. Was it the whole duck? I'm sure the first time I saw kahlua pig (seriously, the whole roast pig at a party when I was a youngin' and until this day, I'm now desensitized) I had a "woah wait what" moment. Yak Sushi has given me food poisoning and my friends say the taste and texture of sashimi / other raw fish is why I don't like it, which is spot on. Scallops, lobster, and fish cooked in butter are divine though to me.

I watch a lot of minor gaming YouTubers who depend on it to live, but I'm waiting for AdBlock to allow site whitelisting so I can whitelist certain channels.

It sucks. I usually end up siding with the villain because, as cute and innocent as they make themselves out to be, victimised LGBTQA+ people and otherkin can be nasty hypocrites, and mostly the "villain" is in the right. (As for those communities, I'm ace, so I'm not in much of the drama anyway.)

Duck was really good, but I was little so eating a water fowl kinda freaked me out. XD The only things I genuinely dislike as foods are a few types of sashimi and shellfish.

I just get AdBlock on Firefox and I move on with my life. Tongue I don't feel guilty about it if it's a YTer I watch for "the lulz" that put out not-so-creative content that's just a commercial or sponsor-plug but yeah, I feel ya.

Hug See, you're super brave. I cannot stand that YT drama / social justice on Tumblr because of all the other stuff I figured out off that site about partnerships, sponsorships, and just shadiness overall. SJ on Tumblr, to me, is like the news---depressing. And the misinformation about feminism and rape turns me off it. The Social Justice Class of Tumblr < Classes I took in university that didn't spread misinformation, imo. But not everyone has that privilege to take such classes so I hope they're as careful as you are about what they read on the Internet, esp. Tumblr.

Duck and goose are my fave. Happy face I'm not a fan of those purely cartilage-y or "fatty" based foods so, thumbs up for you. Thumb up My ama, however, did order chicken feet for our family because some of them like it and it's a normal thing in China. Oh well. Your palate is so ~*~exotic~*~ tehe

I like it. It's faster than IE or Firefox and I can block ads with it. (Which I feel guilty about, because YouTubers get their pay from ads.)

I've only had mine for maybe... four, five months? Maybe more? I'm a part of the YouTube and LGBTQA+ communities there, so drama is actually super common, but I either avoid it or argue it depending on my mood. I'm not really triggered by anything, but I do have anxiety and a few really shitty phobias so I do still have to be careful.

I love trying new things, really. I'll try anything. Food-wise. I've had cow-tongue tacos, brain tacos, raw squid, raw eel (which is rad tasty), frog legs, duck, and perhaps maybe alligator, if I remember correctly. But mostly at home I eat bread and coffee. XD

I didn't like Chrome when I used it on my computer so. Yak But thanks anyway. Cute

I had one for three years(? I just got the email months ago of what age my blog and sub-blog turned before I deactivated lol) and it just really sucked up my time because of infinite scroll and what-have-you. That's the gist of why I deleted it. Plus, for reasons I'd like to not discuss too in depth because it's obvious,. . .it affected me to the point of lapsing back into EDNOS and my anxiety eventually led me to a breakdown of epic proportions resulting in therapy and prescribed sleeping meds. Shifty

Not all of us are like yourself where we can easily separate from the toxicity that goes on within Tumblr, so kudos to you for your strength that I didn't have.

I've tried frog legs, duck liver, run-of-the-mill stuff, really. Not big on seafood or raw food in general (fruits / veggies aside haha) so you're much braver than me in that regard. tehe Also because when I tried something at a festival, I ended up with hives and I totally believe it was because of some chemical / seasoning in whatever I tried that day. Odd. Trying new food is awesome though and I'm up for it as long as I know what it is.

    Safari's bullshit. I have the Chrome app, but I think it's Android-exclusive.
You should have a tumblrrrr. I just reblog things and post fanart. It's not a breathtaking experience of any type.
I am so open to food that it's almost unreal. I ate raw squid once and toad legs another time. I'll try anything. Weird

Amen. I get paranoid using the mobile site because sometimes Safari just closes out randomly bc yay phone glitches and the system going "lemme brake check the browser!" and adding Mibba's glitches on top of that is even worse. Sometimes I'm too late to copy it for that purpose. Facepalm I deactivated my Tumblr and I feel even more freer than when I left in the first place. Con

    . . .sure, sure.

I can show you the world, James. Weird Allow me to.

I copy the text just in case. XD Mibba's going bad but I have tumblr as a backup.

Nah! I'd eat it, just not too much of it.

I like tofu. And vegetables, and dumplings. I love Chinese food. But it's wayyyyy too flavourful.

Definitely so. I have to refresh another tab to see if the post went through because sometimes it'll stop loading / responding or it'll post and the other tab is still loading for some odd reason.

Tongue I guess I'd be afraid if I ever cooked for you IRL.

I'll just make you stick to tofu stir fry then, and leave it at that. Or the most simple vegetable dumpling soup with clear broth and vegetables. Coffee

My issue lies mostly with forums. Half the time I post something and it vanishes, then I get frustrated and leave the site for a few minutes to do something else.

It's true! Food is great, eating it just makes me sick.

I don't think so? Just the flavours and spices they use get me feeling sick after awhile. I dislike the heavily spiced things like orange chicken and many soups because of that.

I usually have to just remember where the hell I posted in case it eats the alert. Otherwise I'll be in the same boat. I just click on it to get rid of it as I'm already on the page in another tab. Facepalm

That's such a clever way of stating it. Cool You clever cat.

Do you have an intolerance for MSG? That's what a lot of places put in Chinese food but it really tastes better without it imo. Shifty Because my uncle has an MSG intolerance (makes him get an awful feeling too) so he tells them not to put it in.

That's dumb. >:( Mibba really needs debugging. It's giving me shit right now and took like ten minutes to finally load the damn page.

Yeah, I know. I don't like eating, I like flavour but I dislike eating. XD

Me too!! It's really good, one of few things I'm always down to eat when it comes time to do so. I could never be vegan. I lvoe dairy. And Chinese food is so so sooo good, but it makes me feel so sick. :(

It's just been happening lately, for some reason, now that I have my alerts piling up (usually if there are more than 4 or 5) and not loading, getting eaten, or just NOT APPEARING. Thankfully I checked back to your blog or else you would've thought I intentionally ignored you. AH. :C

The irony that you dislike food when it's your dad's lifeblood. XD

I'm a big fan of mac n' cheese. You are awful, James. Much evil. Grr CHEESE in general is one of the reasons why I'd crack as a vegan or vegetarian. Fack. My grandparents used to have a Chinese restaurant though (and we're Chinese so woooop) so I'd like to think I'm still a damn winner bc my grandma's food is A+ Chinese. Unless ya hate Chinese food then we can't be friends. File

Yea, I guess I am. My average daily intake is like some cheese, a bottled coffee, maybe some toast, hummus and crackers, and if I get around to it, maybe a Stouffer's box. I dislike food is all.

My dad manages a bar and grill, and I get my food free thanks to him. Happy face Their macaroni is killer. It's got like 4 cheeses. Feel the envy.

You're on the gamer "diet", don't even deny it. Wink Been there, done that. I have to force myself that I have to run on food and drink sometimes when my ma reminds me I'm not a robot.
