And at 12 you were sexually mature? I feel strongly about that! 12 is not the age that anyone should be thinking about sex let alone their sexual orientation. I remember being 12, it's the time in life that many start noticing others around them. I had a crush on my teacher, I thought he was cute, but I also had a crush on my best friend, she was everything that I was not. Fortunately I didn't have to decide at such a young age. Your 'granddad' fails to accept his own son...No parent should ever do that yet you say that "with nothing more than deep hatred and resentment" so how different from him are you? Those are the words of a Christian? Every human does have emotions, to love and cherish does NOT mean you HAVE to agree with the choices that others make but yes, they should still be treated kindly and with respect. No name calling!
