i think i kind of agree with you.. but religion gets into EVERYTHING. for example, a buddhist would NEVER kill an ant, or a wasp or something, but i, as a christian wouldn't think twice about it... and i was just thinking..it depends on the society of a country about what religion the leader is. i think it's hinduism that believes in 'honor killings'. if the president of america beleived in honor killings, then there would be no protection for the poor girls/boys.
btw, an interesting fact for you, about religion...the monarch of england can ONLY be a protestant....not a catholic, or any other religion.
