Exactly, and at least you'll have something to work from if you do stray onto something else for a little while :)
It's always amazing when you love writing a particular character, it can even be said that it's a counterpart of your own personality :D

I only really tend to write Fan Fiction because I'm not that great at planning out my own original characters, BUT the Nick Jonas one of mine, there is going to be my own original character as one of the main ones throughout, so that could be a little interesting. Also, thanks for the recommendation; I'll definitely give them a read, I still have a huge collection in the drawer of my bed to get through, but I'll keep them in mind and have a look for them when I'm next browsing the shelves of Waterstones :D

I was thinking about that! Can't hurt to actually plan something our for once! aha. I'm actually kind of mad at myself for leaving it but it gives me the opportunity to improve and hopefully develop my characters a little further, although Jake is probably my favourite I've ever written, I forgot how funny writing him was. Gaaah, thank you! You're making me blush lmao!

Anytime! I'll check them out! I've never really branched into fanfic before, I'm always lurking around the original fiction aha. Hey, there's a book you might like, actually. The author is called Rainbow Rowell (what a name, right?) and the book is called Fangirl. She's done a bunch of others, like Eleanor and Park, Attachments and Landline and I promise you, they're all very good. You should check them out sometime, whether you buy them on a Kindle or from a shop.

You should jot down some points in which you'd like to change / include for it so that it's there waiting for you when you get round to it (it won't hurt to work on the first part, or at least jot down some ideas). I'll have a read through that one as well after Running Scared and leave a comment. I'm intrigued to see what other fics you have in mind as well because you are a really engaging writer!

Aww, thank you so much, that really means a lot knowing that someone's interested in reading whatever I end up posting! So far I have two summaries up for the main fics that I'm planning on working on if you're interested. They're for 1,000 Hours which is a Billie Joe Armstrong / Criminal Minds type crossover fic & the other one My Only Hope is a Nick Jonas one that's going to be based loosely around the Nicholas Sparks book 'A Walk To Remember', but with a pretty big plot twist to it :D

Aha, I'm actually fighting the urge to start changes on The Dates now, it's ridiculous. Ooooh, thank you! I still don't really know where I'm going with it, I've never planned out my stories, I'm more of a winger. I'm glad you're liking it so far though!

That's good! I always have ideas flitting around my mind but they usually materialise in short stories/one shots. Plus, I don't want to distract myself from Running Scared or else I'll never update it and I really want to finish it. You totally should post some stuff again! I'll keep my eyes peeled for any of your stuff :)

Ooh, I'll have to have a read of that one! I've been following your fic 'Running Scared' every few chapters or so (it's really good from what I've read of it so far and I will sit down and read through it properly before giving you some decent feedback on it)

Well, I kind of have a couple of ideas that I'm toying around with at the moment, it's just deciding which one to write first & that is true... I'll see what I can get done once I'm back home from seeing my Grandad tomorrow (or well, today) and when I've scanned through some of my old writing notebooks :D

Aha, I'm actually reading through one of my old stories right now, The Dates. I'm amazed that I actually find it funny! Sure, the writing isn't the best and the chapters are crazy-short but it's so lighthearted compared to what I've been writing lately. I definitely think I'm going to go back and rewrite it (or add to it) so that I can actually have a humorous story, get away from the tragedy for a while aha.

You should totally get back into writing! Such a cool hobby to have, you can always jump back into it too, there's never any pressure or worry about not being able to do it :)

I totally get where you're coming from with the comments on what we feel are our worst pieces of writing, but it's also really nice to read through everything and think 'wow, I've actually improved somewhat'. Most people don't take the time to comment on things that they read any more, but the ones that do are amazing!

That being said... I should probably get back into writing again because I really do miss it!
