I hate lavender. It's sooo pretty but I get hayfever haha. My mum has some outside that I hold my breath near as I pass it.

Thank you for your input! I finished dressing my bed the other day and have stuck with darkness over light, so no plants for me :( I'd love to grow aloa vera though. It's rather interesting looking.

I'll post a picture here sometime of the finished room :)

I really love bright and organized rooms.
First thing's first, declutter. Throw away everything you haven't used in 6 months or more. Get the air circulating.
Adding more plants to your room is a great idea. How about planting lavender? It's pretty, smells gorgeous and is a natural bug repellent. Also, aloe vera looks pretty awesome and is good for air purification. But they'l need light, and lots of it.
Green and purple are awesome together and I love the idea of a canopy bed.
Are you familiar with Pinterest? It's a great site for gathering ideas, you should check it out.

    Ok, onto the questions...

    1. I love a room that's bright, comfy and organized. That it doesn't take much to clean it. I don't like anything that would be only for decor purposes and I'd have to move or avoid every day, like a mountain of pillows on the bed. It looks good, but it's so impractical. Also, one thing that I must have in a room is a corner or a wall with things that are me, things I believe in that make make me happy.

    2. Curtains all the way, cut so I can tie them up at the sides, maybe fabric over, but I'd have to see how it would turn out, so it wouldn't end up being too much. But definately some fairy lights.

    3. Other than my discontent, nothing growing in my room. I have a few plants around the apartment, a big ass cactus, a bunch of aloe and some other green plants whose names I've forgotten.

    4. Nope, never.

    5. I would love to have a reading corner, with one of those hanging chairs, or a hammock, I'd probably put a canopy over that instead of the bed. Or, a windowsill so wide, I could make it into a bed... But then I'd be tempted never to leave the room again and I'd probaby end up chewing a book for food.

Hope any of this help, let us know how you decided! :D
