I don't want to spam you with a bunch of links, so I've posted them on tumblr on a side blog I use to put random things. The following is a collection of old layouts I've made. Maybe they will spark something. A lot of them are pretty dated, I guess, and you can tell the way they are depended on my mood at the time. But I wanted to try to help, because I know how frustrating it can be. I don't pretend to have really a really good ability for layout things, but maybe some of the pictures or the way it is presented could do something for you. Either way let me know what you're going for, and I'll help you as best as I can.

I don't know what kind of layout you're looking for. There are SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS. I try to imitate every kind. That's why I have tens of thousands of pages of story layouts and blog layouts that I never use. I like to screw around with everything. It's a good distraction. I'm trying to think of people that are still active that would be good.

I know C418, pallid, eartha kitt (hers are very simple and GORGEOUS ALWAYS), decay ...

that's all I can think of. I get inspiration from layouts too. You are not alone. I might be able to come up with more.
