Aha, alrighty. As long as you guys don't let it go too far, you know? Because whether you know it or not, the stress you and Casey feel(s) can also affect Elizabeth, too. I don't exactly know how, but it does because my younger cousins felt extremely stressed out when my aunt and her ex were constantly at odds with each other (they still feel it once in awhile).

She actually does not live in town either, lol. But I wouldn't trust her anyway. A lot of the reasons I don't like her revolve around the fact that she doesn't listen to me when it concerns Elizabeth and she doesn't respect my parenting. Honestly, though, I don't mind it. I know I can always get the gas money together and send her to my mom's if it gets to be TOO much, which we did this time. We don't do it often because I generally go to my mom's too because I miss her, but what we're doing now is always an option every couple of months or so. If I ever meet someone I trust who lives close by, we'll do date nights. Until then, we'll manage. :)

That sucks! :( What about Casey's mom? I know you don't get along with her but what about her watching Elizabeth while you guys go do something together?

It sounds like you guys had a relaxing day. Maybe you and Casey can make this a bi-weekly thing. Like let your mom take Elizabeth on every other weekend or something so that you guys can have some time together, you know?
