    Added~ I definitely understand how you feel, I've been here for years now. I'm pretty sure around 5 or 6 so I've seen all the changes, watched people go for good, etc. But what I've learned after two years of being here on and off from writer's block is that you have to write for yourself. What about the change should stop you from writing here? Nothing. In my opinion, and this isn't to sound rude, but Mibba is a home. You treat your home nicely - read in it, blog in it, comment and chat in it, and if you aren't writing in it then what about it is wrong opposed to the other homes you write in? It's up to you to find out and figure out how to change that! I'm returning to one old story, and bringing in three new ones right now and I'm writing and so happy about it. Just do it because it makes you happy xo

As someone who celebrates Dia de Muertos because of my Hispanic heritage, it's often just out of laziness to create a costume or appreciation for our heritage or excitement or just love for the look. I do know loads of people that don't celebrate Dia that do that though and I just why. Glad we can both be irked by something that people praise and shouldn't~

    Every Halloween, it feels like my Facebook feed is cluttered up with countless white girls who do "sugar skull" makeup and it just makes me Facepalm so much. It's 2014 - why do people still feel the need to make other cultures into "costumes" while failing to see the racism in it? I'm white and I never understood it.

    (And I just realized that a major element of Who Knows, Who Cares is a school mascot, but it's just a tiger. Racist school and sports teams mascots also irk me to no end. XD)
