I love this post! It's so freaking true. I am a total comfort buyer. I'm not so great with keeping friendships with people in person for two reasons. 1.I'm socially awkward. 2.I find most people are real assholes and not worth the trouble. So shopping allows me to get out in public and see what's new and kind of be among people. But I do get the biggest joy out of purchasing stuff that interests me. I'm not hard to please either. A trip to our half price bookstore makes me feel like a kid at Christmas. The Dollar tree is fun too because I know I can buy several things in there and not come out totally broke.
