Um, I'm not sure if he's drinking again or not, but this should help with some of the rumors. Idk, this could just ba an act, but Gerard drinking apple cider.

Anyway, I agree with most of what you said, the rest I'm just confused about.

    xoxo.

I have had the same best friend since third grade and I talk to her every day, and no matter what she was going through i would never ever leave her side. BEST FRIENDS means forever. ANYWAYS. wow, I honestly didn't think this would start much, I'm kind of glad it did though lol. I didn't mean for so many people to react to it. It was handled maturely though, this would have turned into a riot if I put it on myspace..but yeah, I don't know who mentioned it, but someone said we don't know the full story, and thats true. Me and Jess just sort of voiced our opinions to each other and I thought some of you would be interested..glad you guys were. I feel special knowing the hour it took me to type that wasn't a waste =]

i don't either. all i am saying is that i think gerard handled the AFTERMATH more maturely and if he DID end the friendship i personally can't say I'd blame him.

Haha, Laura you do realize this is Motley, right? XD
And I still support Gerard 100%.
I just...I don't think that Bert supported his desicion to be cleaned, because if he did he wouldn't have pulled that stunt at Warped. I think, it could be possible some bad ords were said last by Gerard, but I think Bert probably made that happen, by immediantly being pissed instead of supporting him.
You keep saying Gerard should've helped Bert...but what about Bert helping Gerard?

If Bert was the one to end it he probably wouldn't have acted that way.
I, and a few other people, have different reactions to different situations. When I end relationships, I'm fine with it, I move on.
If it's ended by someone else I'm upset and angry and act out.
    *shrugs*
    I have no idea.

who's to say gerard was even the one to leave? we really dont know at ALL what happened. maybe Bert decided to end the friendship. we dont know enough to speculate on what they did. all we can speculate on accurately is what we saw as their reactions to it. and i saw gerard react with far more maturity than bert.

i think they should of helped each other
and yes i have one best friend, we've been friends since daycare/pre-K
one turned out to be a fake. but it's not the point Gerard should have tried harder to help Bert.
    thats what i think
thats what i have to say
    thats all i'm saying
so see you guys in the next big thing

My first best friend I've been friends with since birth
My second best friend since grade 6ish
I'm 18 now. My best friends are forever and I would do anything for them. I still hang out and talk to these people every day that I can (kinda hard with the massive distance right now)
We don't know the situation. Who are we to say that Bert would have even offered Gerard the drugs or alchohol? He's never encouraged it to anyone else - that we know of.
My complicated relationship person...quit pot and he still hangs out with all the druggies. He's only been off it for a few months. But he quit because he was going to get kicked out and it was messing him up.
It depends on the person, and how strong/weak they are...

I think when it comes to drugs, I don't think it matters.
The way I see it is Gerard was doing something to better himself and at the time Bert wasn't helping.
At least, that's what I got.
And you might call me sh*tty for this, but if me and my best friend were doing drugs and I was trying to quit but she wasn't, if I saw that it would affect me, I would say "Hey, this is something I have to do for myself right now" and explain. While I'm cleaning up, I probably wouldn't be able to hang out with her until I'm sure I would be able to say no. I think maybe that's what happened between them and Bert threw a fit (hence the even at Warped). :\
    My opinion.
