My best friend and another friend of mine wear a lot of makeup and have a lot of brushes and palettes and whatever, whereas I don't really like to wear a lot, maybe some concealer and eyeliner and mascara. I'll occasionally wear a lot if I'm going to a party, but for the most part it doesn't matter. I think as long as you feel good with yourself then it doesn't matter. If you wanna cake it on, go ahead. If you wanna wear nothing, go ahead.

For me it depends on my mood, and I really don't care what others think about.

Yes! I agree with all of this. I hate when you decide to go with no make up or the very minimal and everyone keeps asking you if you are sick or telling you that you look really tired. Rolling Eyes

I usually wear at least some item of make up to work. Eyeshadow and lip gloss for sure. Some days I just don't feel like it though and people always tell me I looked tired. tehe I don't get offended about it at all though. I guess I don't care what people think because make up use is for my benefit and not theirs.

i think my username alone exposes my stance on this.
it's how i feel on a good makeup day.

curious though, i could literally do a makeup look the exact same way 2 days in a row but see a different girl based on how i feel that day.

EX: today, i could walk by the mirror in the break room and think "ooo gurl, who dat, who dat? dat me!" and tomorrow i could walk past and think "you don't deserve to look in a mirror, you're worse than cousin it...you are cousin sh*t" all the while having the same hairstyle and makeup look as the previous day, ja feel?

I can't do makeup at all. I've been told you know you do it right if you can't feel it on your face but I think that's dumb because I know I applied it!

Awww yeah! This is so great and to the point! I love people who are comfortable with themselves and capable of telling people (who feel the need to judge others) exactly where to shove it.

    #realtalk though Clap

It also really pisses me off when people equate someone who wears makeup = high maintenance; like alright---me wanting to accentuate the features I have makes me high maintenance? So be it. 2 fab 4 u anyway. Hand
