Oh man, that's terrible! Hope your pa is recovering well. When I read this blog, I felt like I could connect a lot with the sense of being trapped in your own mind and also with the loss of enjoyment from art. Things have become a lot better for me mentally-speaking now, though. I hate to remember what it was like - probably because somewhere in the back of my mind I'm wondering if it'll be easier to fall back there again next time something/some things big, bad and stressful happens. Only reason I'm saying that is to say in a roundabout way that your current situation is extremely shit right now, but it will not stay that way. Things will get better, they will. Don't know how or when which is the real killer sometimes, but that's great that you're devoting yourself to your writing! Keep it up! So likewise, I want you to know that if you need somebody to talk to I am here.
