It doesn't botheer me because after 24 years of being around her, you learn to ignore her. my grandma says a lot of stuff to make people feel like shit because she has somee sort of chemical imbalance or mental/emotional problem (she got thrown off by a horse and hurt her head or something i beleieve).

How the hell can anyone say to a member of their family? That's a shitty way of repaying you for what you and your work did for her. :( I think she might've been too drunk or something or maybe she's miserable and wants everyone else to be the same way. my grandma's done something like that to me before.
