I've definitely done that myself before. tehe I had some guy asking me why my music taste was so weird on a bus once because the earphones I was using at the time were pretty damn awful. Coffee Yeah, I know a lot of metal fans that are like that. I mean, I like some metal but it definitely wouldn't be all I listened to. I need a bit of light-heartedness in my music at times. lmfao

    @ Quiescent.

Thank goodness I am not alone! And I was totally the same way with the whole Eminem thing, until I found out that there is much better rap music out there. I've found so much good music from the radio and Pandora.

    @ nearly witches.

One time I didn't realize that my earbuds weren't so great at keeping the sound in and that everybody else in the car could hear what I was listening to. And my iPod went from Bring Me the Horizon to Tyga so quickly. And the guy driving started laughing and gave me this total WTF look. Just thought I would share that story. And I don't understand that, either! I feel like it's pretty common in metal fans. Once they go to metal, it's like they never go back. But some of them don't give other music a chance anymore. I really don't understand it.

    @ Alex Moore.

Totally understandable. I love lyrics, too. Usually, if I find really pretty lyrics in art or on Tumblr, it makes me want to listen to the song that they come from.

    @ essence.

LOL. I love that. It's like you're a magical unicorn.

My music taste is so all over some of them don't even have official genre names lol. Like chill vibe and PBR&B aka Alternative R&B and sometimes just "smooth" lol.

There's a YouTube channel called Majestic Casual that post a lot of songs that follow what I usually listen to, though.

So I guess my genre is majestic. lol

I am so much lyric-orientated that I can really listen to a lot of genres as long as the words pull on my heartstrings or make me happy and want to dance.

I'm absolutely the same. I can go from listening to Nirvana to listening to Swedish House Mafia. I have no idea why it's such a diverse gap when it comes to my music taste, but I don't mind. tehe I have a friend that won't listen to anything unless it's 90's hair metal, and I just don't understand how he lives like that. It just doesn't make sense to me at all.

Psh, dude, totally same. I have Michael Buble, One Direction, Pierce the Veil, Brad Paisley (country), Lana Del Ray, The Kooks, Panic! (old and new). I could sit hear all day telling you how different my music is because it is, I even have some rap music (Eminem only so far) but I'm discovering new things almost every day just because I think it's all right.
