    That's so silly that you don't get to use calculators. Maybe she'll learn that too many problems is just a waste of time for the students who maybe didn't even finish them all, and the class time wasted that could be used for other things.

    -410k+2(5k-6)=-3x-39+3k

    It is an insane amount. I've never had a teacher give out this much homework on the first day. I know she's fresh out of college, just completed her student teaching and wants the best test scores, etc. But holy hell, it's going to take us all 95 minutes of tomorrow and Friday's class periods to go over them and make sure they're right. Some of these, I'm not even sure I did correctly because, again, it's been so long since I even looked at a math problem. And we don't get calculators! She told us if we use calculators in her class, she confiscates them. Argh!
