Ugh, I swear, ever since I had my tonsils removed four years ago, I think I get strep throat more with them being gone than when they were in. It sucks so much. I'm glad I'll have the weekend to recover, but I know come Monday I'm going to have loads of work. >.< Boo.

I just got over this! Thankfully my mother was able to get me amoxicillin pretty quick. It helped a lot! After just one dose the next day my throat felt five times better. I know exactly what you mean, about not being able to swallow! I didn't sleep for two days because of the pain. I spent a lot of time in and out of showers, because the steam was the only thing that got my mind of the pain long enough. I actually fell asleep in there a couple of times.I missed two days of work, and a day of classes. I'm still taking the antibiotic. It's important to take all of it or the infection could come back! I had this all last weekend. I feel your pain, I really do. I'm so sorry you are feeling like poop, and I hope you get well soon!
