I Don't Want a Relationship! - Comments

Oh man, it's great to see others feeling the same way! The weirdest thing is that even if you practically spell it out for them, some will still just linger on the fringe of conversations with you. And because I often believe in giving others a second chance and trying to understand them, I will continue a genuine conversation with them because genuine conversations are great. Exactly what I want - only what I want. But then, after a while, they'll suddenly start trying to ask or persuade me for more than that and it's the most frustrating thing ever.
I can't be horrible to others, I just can't, but I know it'd save a lot of agro if I could!

With that said, I recently came across a guy who is not like them. Instead he is just so down to Earth, genuine and hilarious! I can't explain it, but we both just seem to understand each other as friends. He never persists, or even asks, and I think we both feel glad about that for sure because we're good as friends and anything more would just be weird and out of the question! Hope someone more like him comes your way!

Hello! In the same boat as you. People trying to make me feel bad/pressuring me is very annoying and unnecessary, I agree. You just have to hang in there and find (guy) friends that will either get over the "relationship talk" and return to normal or find friends that aren't heterosexual, really.

guys don't seem to understand that not all girls want relationships. So when you nicely tell them no, they freak out and make it seem like you're the bad guy. I hate that!

I feel you on that one, I don't want a relationship. I have a kid and I don't want deal with the drama from guys.
