I might have as well, I haven't cleared out my makeup in years lmfao

Yeah, Youtube is a mecca for stuff like that. I don't play piano very well, so I always use Youtube to learn stuff because it's easier than trying to follow music when I can barely play the instrument. Shifty Laziness is the worst thing for everyone, it ruins productivity. tehe Exactly, and all you can do is try. XD

    I still have some. lmfao

Because of Youtube, all I do is visually learn now. I've always been more of a visual learner when it comes to, well, everything, so that's easier for me. Haha, I feel you on getting lazy. That's probably why I don't really play by ear that much anymore either. XD That's true. Even if we're not the best, we're still trying. tehe

HOW COULD I FORGET THE RED EYESHADOW lmfao

Sometimes I find it easier to visually learn, it makes more sense than trying to decipher the musical notation and then play it. My sister plays that way as well (although she can read music, she just chooses not to because it bores her). I used to love trying to play by ear (I learned the trumpet intro for one of my favourite songs by doing that) but I got really lazy after a while. lmfao I reckon that even if you can't read music, it takes talent to even try and play an instrument. I'll just hide in the corner, playing my shoddy guitar tunes. tehe

Ah those were the days. Don't forget the red eyeshadow. tehe

See, that's me. I've tried to learn but I still get confused, which is why I can only play piano either by ear or visually learn through Youtube. So that's cool that you've found it to be easier to read than others. Hey, even if you turn out to be "bad", it'll still be better than me because I can't play at all. lmfao

Emo central 2005, where guy liner and floppy black fringes were all the range tehe

I always found music slightly easier to read than other people, that's the one saving grace I have. I know friends who have tried to learn for years and just can't pick it up though, it's definitely difficult as anything. I have a friend who learns piano pieces entirely by ear because he just cannot pick up reading music. It's kind of like learning a whole brand-new language though, I suppose. I dunno, I haven't practised in the next part of 6 months. We shall see how bad I am when I get back home and dust off my guitar after this exchange trip. lmfao

Exactly, our music tastes are wonderful because we're still stuck in emo central 2005. tehe

Still, it's really cool that you play guitar and I praise people who are dedicated to learning all that. Like I said I can't read music and I've even tried, but still have trouble with it. Though everyone can play instruments, that doesn't necessarily mean they're really good it at and I'm pretty sure you're better at guitar than I am. XD

    Absolutely! tehe

Yeah, you're into a lot of really good bands that I also like. Obviously we have the best music tastes. Coffee See, I'm one of the lesser talented people at my uni, everyone else can sing and play instruments and I'm just sitting in a corner like... "hi I play guitar yay", which is awkward. I definitely reckon that instruments are just a case of constant practice though. In my opinion, anyone can play an instrument but singing is a talent that you have to possess. And I definitely do not possess it. lmfao

    Thank you! Cute

Yeah, a lot of people love his name. tehe

Cool, I saw and followed you back!

    I remember you, too! OMGYES

Haha, actually I'm not the one playing piano in that cover. XD I'm not at that point where I can sing and play at the same time (and I'm only a beginner) so I used an instrumental from youtube. But thank you!

    @ nearly witches.
Oh, wow we have not. Well, it's time to change that!

I've seen you around the threads and love your music taste as well! I believe we'd get along well if we hung out together in real life. Well, I'm jealous of you for being a musician. I can't read music and can only play a little piano, but I'm no expert. I really admire people that can play instruments and wish I could do that, too.

We've been on staff together for ages and I don't believe we've ever really talked properly. That's super-weird!

Anyway, nice to meet you! Your pup is adorable (and that name, that's the cutest thing ever) and your taste in music is pretty awesome. And you have a wonderful voice. I'm so jealous, because I'm more of a musician than a singer and I get super-jealous whenever I hear someone who can sing really well, because it's always been the one musical thing I've never been able to pick up on!

Considering I didn't know you at all before I read this, all these facts are new to me! Good luck with your studies and getting into the Art Institute in SF.

Your dog now has the greatest pet name ever. Haha.

You sound wonderful and I'm definitely going to go follow you on twitter/instagram.
