I did set up a GoFundMe, actually. Thanks for the suggestion. It's linked in another blog I posted (and I'll be probably linking to it again in future posts). Thanks for your help.

Maybe you can try gofundme.com to help earn money. Someone else is using this site to earn money for something important. I'm not aure how it works, but perhaps this site can help you with money.

Oh god. My father-in-law is the WORST at computers. He literally has trouble figuring out how to just go to a web site. I suppose we can have my siblings-in-law work with him on that. My husband does talk to his dad on the phone a ton, which is great, but regardless it's just not the same as being there.

I didn't know welfare greats for emergency travel were a thing, so I'm guessing we don't have those. But I appreciate your concern. It means a lot. Things are just hard right now.

Does his father have the ability to Skype? I know that it's difficult to get the money together, but in the mean time you guys could possibly see him every day via that? At least then it may help calm you a little bit knowing that you can still SEE him until you can SEE him if you know what I mean?

Is there no welfare grants or anything for emergency travel in your state? :(
