Being an Adult and Moving Back Home - Comments

I will be 25 this year and still live at home. My fiancé lives with his parents as well. I said wasn't ever moving out again until I got married because the first time I left home was an epic fail. It's nice to be able to save up money and plan how you want things to go. I'm getting married in April, so I'm sure my brother is going to love getting a bigger room. Lol

It might be polite to tell them when you're coming and going, but I don't think it's really something you absolutely need to do.

I moved back in with my mom a month ago and there are times that I'm afraid I'll still be here in a year, but don't worry too much. Just live yo' life!

We are totally in the same boat, my friend. I lived on my own for two years, when I took a break from college to decide what I wanted to do, and work full time for a while. I just moved back in with my parents so I can go back to school and quit my job. It's a strange transition, but I hope your family is like mine. My dad cooks for me every night, and me and my mother drink together a lot. It's kind of like having two really responsible, financially stable roommates that are also really generous.
