Yes! Bae is bias basically. Idol is someone who debuted on a music stage already. He or she isn't a backup singer or dancer or a trainee anymore. They get to do promotions and they get to go to variety shows. Trainees haven't debuted yet. They're basically waiting for their big break in the industry and waiting if they're going solo or be put into a group or not.
