Really? I had no idea. Of course, I hardly go to Cincy anyway and I never go to bars. xD So.

Well, that's awesome for you. Maybe one day you'll be writing for video games by day and taking over gay bars all over Cincy by night. ;)

    UC!! :P Right IN Cincy.

Lol. I don't really like Cincinnati. I don't know. It's like a city, but it seems so small for a city to me. It's weird. I just don't feel at home when I go there. But when I visited Louisville I felt like I was right where I needed to be.

I totally understand wanting to get out of Kentucky. xD I really really want to get out of Indiana. I'm hoping that once I move on to grad school I can get out.

I definitely don't want to stay in Kentucky ::lmao: But if I pick a college in KY, it would definitely be near Cincy.

Well, I wish you luck. :) I hope you get your dream job! Have you considered applying to NKU, Louisville Universty, Kentucky University? Just some places in Kentucky if you wanted to stay in Kentucky. I went to Louisville for a concert and really love the city! I don't know much about NKU, but my boyfriend says the campus is an eyesore (too much concrete he says). I go to Hanover College which is about an hour from Louisville and an hour and a half from Cinci (which I think is close to northern Kentucky in general??). The campus is beautiful, the professors are fucking awesome, and I love it here. I don't know much about the English program, but I think that all the programs here are awesome. Of course, I'm biased. ;P

I was thinking of that! Georgia State has a good English program. I'll probably apply to both, since what I really wanna do is write for video games and you don't really need a degree in anything to do that. You just gotta be good at writing.

Girl, I live in southeastern Indiana, not far from Northern Kentucky. ;)

Also, writers usually have a day job that they rely on to put food on the table until they feel that their income from writing is stable enough. So, I think it would be best if you got a degree in English (maybe even double major) and use that degree to be a professor or an editor or something along those lines so that you can still focus on your writing.

I mean, you can definitely do what you want, but I'm just suggesting you give yourself options.
