This happens to me a lot when I write scream stories on here. (Even though I only wrote one xD) but I'm going to take a look at it because I love your writing! ^_^

A couple of my stories I felt this way on, but then I realized it probably just wasn't everyone's type of story that they enjoy so I've let it go. The people that did enjoy it let me know so... yeah.

It is hard though when you work so much on something.

As for a site, why not try ff.net?

This happens to me a lot. My readers mostly consist of people that I constantly talk to on almost a daily/weekly basis... which isn't a lot. Weird And I write for the supposedly 'famous' fandom. However, I believe it's my fault for being bad at updating hence, my stories don't come up on the page often so people don't see them. It can get discouraging when you work so hard on something and it feels like no one appreciates it by the lack of feedback. But believe me, 30 readers are actually quite a lot. That means there are 30 members out there who check out your story, at least interested to click on the story page. There must be something there that picks their interest. And if you get at least one comment, that's good as well, even if it is just one flimsy comment.

My advice, find other members who share the same interests and talk to them like A LOT and just promote your stories shamelessly. That works good enough for me. Cute

Good luck with your future work!

I feel the same way about original pieces. But then again, it all depends on that author, you know? If people know that you're really good at writing OF and it's a hit, people would quickly sub or comment on that same author's other stories because they are already familiar with their writing styles, and know that that author's new stories will most likely be a hit as well. does this post even make sense That's just what I think or maybe I'm just rambling because I need sleep lmfao

Lowkey I feel as if online OF gets so little attention, it sucks so hard for us.

I have to advertise myself a lot on here in order to get some feedback, it kinda sucks, but then again it kinda translates to the real world. You can't necessarily get popular unless you have a good ad campaign, which is understandable, but I just wish the Mibba community was just a teensy bit more supportive of other authors.

This happens to me, but mostly for original fiction. I will work really hard, edit it, reread it for any more mistakes, then post it. What do I get?! Very few readers. Of course a story that I quickly write and glance over before posting gets more reads and people want more.
