M. Shadows Fic and Life Update. - Comments

A few years ago, my grandfather passed away from prostate cancer. His final days were spent in a nursing home, where I'm sure he'd given up hope and the nurses didn't care. My mother and I were torn apart when he passed because it wasn't OUR choice to ship him a few towns away to a freaking nursing home. My mother's sister is to blame for that one, but it's in the past, he's moved on to a better place and we've picked up the pieces.

I've stated all that to say I can understand some of what you wrote in your blog. I am truly sorry that your family has to go through such hard times. As stated by the other lovelies below me, your grandmother is a wonderful woman whose spirit will always surround you with so much love and guidance. This trouble that you're currently being forced to endure will make you stronger in the end. I know it feels like shit right now, and it hurts just as bad, but honey it will get better. It will get easier to face. I pray you'll come through this with so much more than what you've lost. You can always talk to me, I'll be hear if you want to talk love.

I'm glad to hear that you're hanging in there, Mandie. Just remember that your grandma will always be there for you, even if she isn't here physically. I don't much believe in God in a religious sense that the bibles all talk about, I do believe that something or someone is up there watching over everyone and everyone in the world sees him/her/them/it differently. Sometimes we need to struggle a lot in order to become stronger. I hope your granny passes peacefully. I'll be here if you need to talk.

I have been wondering where you were.
Much sympathy to you and your grandma.
You are a wonderful person by being there for her as much as you can and working your ass off at the same time with both external and internal conflicts.
