I like tattoos but don't have any and probably never will. I don't like injections or pain at all so I don't think it'd work out for me just based on that. Then there's also that I sorta just like the way I look without tattoos. I dunno. I like art but I don't really need it on my body. If I ever got anything tattooed on me it'd probably be a feather or something.
My sister has a lot of tattoos but not many that actually mean anything to her. I think she just liked the idea of it. She has her dog's face on her arm, the lunar cycle on her feet, a sloth, an alien holding a balloon - that one's probably my favourite haha. And several others. Bits and pieces that don't really match up haha.
Yeah, sometimes tattoos are more for looking at than actually having. I always stress out over the pain of actually getting the tattoo, but I just tell myself that the pain is temporary compared to how long the tattoo will last. I do have a pretty low pain tolerance, I think. It's a wonder I can even stomach the thought of being pricked with a needle over and over again.
That's cool! Some of the tattoos I'm thinking about getting aren't particularly meaningful, but I just think they'd look nice. Haha, I think her tattoos sound awesome, and they give a nice peak into her interests and fascinations.
