I wasn't saying Josh was the one who dumped her. I was just saying that even though they're not together anymore, she still says a lot of good things about him. Sorry if that was confusing.

Yeah, that's understandable. I can see how that'd be an issue for some relationships, but that definitely wouldn't be a problem with Halsey and Josh. Like you said, their careers and lifestyles wouldn't really clash because they're so similar. Josh doesn't really live in way that makes him seem too mature for her and in no way does Halsey feel she's too young for him or not on the same level (you could even mistake them for being the same age tbh). The thing is that the person that made a big deal out of the age gap was making Josh seem like a creeper who's trying to take advantage of Halsey and that's what bothered me. Not only are they making Josh appear as problematic, they're also making Halsey seem like she has bad judgement.

Can I just say that I friggin' love your Halsey/Zack layout?

But moving onto the topic at hand, who really cares about the age difference? I mean, I could understand if she was still in high school and he was in his mid-twenties with a career and all of that, but that's mainly because of the difference in life experience and not so much the age gap. For example, for myself, I feel like, when I was twenty-one and in college, it would've been too much for me to date a guy in his thirties who was already settled and all of that because I didn't have the maturity or the life experience for that, ya know? But Halsey and Josh are both have similar careers and probably live similar lifestyles because of their careers, so they have that shared life experience, if that makes any sense? So I wouldn't think the age gap would be that huge of a deal
