I agree with atmos and nefertiti. Though I've only been in one relationship, I know how confusing it is not being able to understand whether you love your significant other or not. But I feel that you're asking someone/anyone on here solve your problems for you, which we can't do. You have to figure this one out yourself. But tbh, it sounds like you're being selfish by keeping your boyfriend along despite being bored with him. Let him go and re-evaluate your morals and think of the real reason you're bored of him. I'm gonna go off on a limb and say that you have SOME feelings for your boyfriend if you're feeling this guilty but idk. Like I said, I've only had one boyfriend so I can't really tell you anything outside of what I've said already.

Well you say you're "scared of breaking his heart" but you obviously didn't care enough about his feelings if you went and slept with someone else without breaking up with him first. I know you probably wrote this journal looking for support, but I personally do not have any respect for cheaters. Break it off with the person THEN date/have sex someone else, that's how you do it. You show no respect for your boyfriend or your relationship morals by doing that, not to mention doing it for a petty reason as your "bored with him." I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone cheating on you, why wrongfully do it to another?

The only way to kind of reedeem yourself is to properly break up with him and apologize sincerely. Who ever he is, he deserves that much.

Suck it up and break it. You're doing no one favors by keeping him in the dark/dragging him along. (Yourself included.)
