I'm enough of a fan to have a bias...I just listen to their music, and know little about them. :/

Yay! I'm a very recently new fan. tehe
Do you have a bias in the group?
Also, sorry to like practically spring on you for info, but how would you describe the personalities of the members if you have seen them in any variety/drama shows? I'm looking on-line for these kind of shows but can't seem to find any! Apparently Toru starred in a drama called Shibuya Fifteen but I can't find this on-line. OMG NO!

Omg this sounds like a great story! Crazy
    Supernatural/spiritual/K-Pop/Japan influence...right up my street!
I don't really have a lot of Japanese shows or music to recommend (besides One OK Rock & Da-iCE) but I find that this site always has a lot of interesting posts about Japanese culture and traditions. Hope it helps!

Here are one of my fave songs from each!

    Good luck with the NaNoWriMo!

There book series called the Sano Ichiro series that deals with a lot of Japanese history and if your journalist character ever has to study history of Japan, like the culture and stuff, the Sano Ichiro novels work quite well. I would also feel that the anime series Nana works too. Or Gokusen if you're aiming to put in a little bit of Yakuza themes/characters in your story too.
