@ leopold fitz
Some people just don't appreciate hard work tbh Especially when it explicitly says in MOST graphic shops to credit the person. And in regards to people using layouts specifically for other people... why don't they just request one from you / others of their own? I'm so baffled these daysNovember 25th, 2015 at 10:22pm -
I think some people just perhaps didn't think of it. Like it never crossed their mind that this was a thing people do. Sorta like with a lot of people making layouts, they don't think to credit those that took the photos they're using etc.November 25th, 2015 at 05:05am

I've seen people use story layouts when I label it "[Person's name]'s story layout". Like, if it were me on the other end, I'd be a little annoyed if a bomb af layout was made for me and someone else was using it. IDK, it could be a little bitchy of me to say buuuuuuutNovember 25th, 2015 at 04:28am

@ cis.
of course! your graphics are beautiful
Yeah! Like people put a lot of effort into these things so like...credit should be given? It's just so annoying
@ dawn of light
It is! It's literally a given to credit people for things they did specifically for someone. Like I ain't no ghost layout maker (cuz like ghost writer...get it? )
And that's actually the annoying part. Cuz this girl was like "Oh I didn't see it say I should ask for permission!" and I was about to go off, like it said "for Carissa (starfire.)" not "for [that girl's user]." She shouldn't have taken it in the first place.
AND OF COURSE GIRL YOUR LAYOUTS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL
@ losing control.
LMAO omg no. There's no shade to majority of the people I made layouts for. It's just like...a couple
And thank you bb
@ LeavingCalifornia
Yeah, I saw your blog about that! You should tell the person who made your layout and maybe they can confront that person? Like I would def do it for someone I made a layout for cuz like...it's my creation lmaoNovember 25th, 2015 at 03:51am -
I dont like when other people use layouts made for me. It kind of bothers me. I never confront anyone about it but idk, i hate it.November 25th, 2015 at 02:46am

I got super paranoid that I didn't properly credit you on the layouts you made for me so I went back and checked BUT WE'RE GOOD
That sucks about the credit/using a layout for someone else thing thoughNovember 25th, 2015 at 02:26am -
YEAH AND WHEN PEOPLE USE OTHER PEOPLE'S REQUESTED LAYOUTS. I've seen it happen. I'm like whaaaaatNovember 25th, 2015 at 02:25am

The credit thing like it happened before (three times) and I kindly PMed them about it because I do spend and effort into time making it. It's just those unwritten rules, you know? This was also before I made a thread. It was just for some giveaways or just people asking for layouts in general.
As for the whole shade thing, shit man. That's never happened to me. I'm sorry that's happened to you. Like the nerve like, us layout makers won't be pissed if there is something you don't like or want something changed. Say something! (Cue rant ending)
Thank you though for name dropping my shop! I'm so glad there are so many layout threads now! Sometimes my designs are too repetitiveNovember 25th, 2015 at 02:23am -
Thank you for the shoutout, your layouts are gorgeous
But I am super sorry about the credit thing I get super annoyed when credit isn't given for like... anything. Whether it be art, icons, layouts etc. If it isn't yours, give credit to the person that did make it. It's just super rude to basically not credit someone's hard work like that.November 25th, 2015 at 01:58am
RIGHT??????? I DON'T UNDERSTAND AT ALL. Like it's just so simple to follow but soooo many people do that it's ridiculous
@ starfire.
SERIOUSLY. She still had it up (and I think she still does now) and I'm like because idk how to approach this situation without startin' some shit
