Advice? Questioning My Major- Again - Comments

  • I wish you luck in finding your way.

I loved Maths in school, hated English. My final year I did Physics, Maths Studies and Specialists, Chemistry and Geography.
At uni, I started doing a BA of Science. Hated it. Way too much work. So I switched to Arts and majored in English, minored in Geographical Studies. It was part of a double degree with teaching but I dropped that in my last year when we had to go out and actually teach lol. I really enjoyed lots of my subjects, particularly Geography and the Philosophy classes I chose as electives. Now I'm one course away from completing my Masters in Accounting because I really, really missed maths. Strange path. Expensive path lol. But you'll find yours :)

  • I strongly advise you to approach an appropriate member of staff about this; the sooner the better. Whether you start off discussing these issues with your teacher, academic advisor or book an appointment with a student life adviser, as long as you get your foot in the door then you will be redirected to the person most able to help you according to your situation. Good luck!
