I feel bad for the little old lady that runs the office because she's so sweet, but really, she's the one who can get stuff done so I've got to come off as angry and distressed (not that I'm not or anything hah) to get her to crack the whip. Thanks for the well wishes!

As someone who has lived in apartments all their adult lives I can recommend that you look up the laws in your state/county because the conditions your in may not be considered habitable. Some may include a form that goes along the guidelines of "my right under this section blah blah gives me the right to this and that and if it's not fixed I have the right to terminate my lease with no pentalty." My brother had roaches in his apt that where there when he moved in. The landlord refused to do anything until he did what I suggested and they jumped and did it quick as shit.

Ughh, it makes me so angry when people just assume women have no idea what they're talking about/are stupid I would definitely be going down there and being not so nice until they agreed to do something about it. I hope they get everything figured out for you soon!
