Thank you for your comments, guys. I agree with all of you. Cyber bullying needs to stop. And people should take mental illnesses more seriously. People need to stop brushing it off as someone just trying to fish for attention. It can be a genuine cry for help. Sorry

  • I'm hoping a loved one saw her Tweets and went over to her. Perhaps she's in the hospital right now to help her stabilize herself. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll know anything until her or someone else that's close to her posts something.

Honestly, I've been in her place before. I know how she feels and it isn't fun. It's caused me to deactivate all of my social media just to get away from it all, so it's possible she did that as well and is taking a break. She might even have a new account set up- one that people won't be able to recognize as her.

I wish internet bullying was treated as a serious issue, but there are so many people that are still under the mindset that you can 'walk away from it'.

  • That's sad and it's sickening that people are bashing her like that, even after she supposedly committed suicide. How the hell can those people live with themselves. Oh wait, they have the internet to hide behind, their computers because on the internet, you can troll people with very little consequences because it's the internet and people'ls feelings mean nothing@

Ugh Sorry for the sarcastic part there (the internet part). I't's so sad that so many people feel the need to bully someone anonymously like that and can fee no remorse for the sad outcome. It makes me wonder why they do that and how bullying, trolling, and putting someone down can make anyone feel better about themselves?

  • It's not just Malaysians who stigmatise mental illness - I think it still happens all over the world. Here in Australia, for sure. You're depressed? Nope, you just need to man up. You want to kill yourself? LOL, stop being so dramatic, ya pussy.

It's ridiculous, and I am ashamed to say that I know people who act this way.

If somebody says they're going to kill themselves, it should NEVER be taken as a joke. I don't care if they say it every day, or if they're known for being dramatic. Something like that should always be taken seriously. People who make a joke out of it are the reason that suicide rates are still so high.

It breaks my heart to know that such a lovely soul, somebody who's trying to put some good into the world, could be bullied and belittled like that. I hope that she's okay, and that people back off and leave her alone. Nobody deserves that.

  • Poor darling Sad I hope she's okay. I'll do some digging into her online tomorrow and see if I can find anything. I can't stand people who make jokes about something like suicide. Like, in moments where I'm being heavily harassed by racists or something I've considered saying things like "wow go kill urself" but to make a joke about someone's a c t u a l suicide attempt or how people commit suicide is just ridiculous. People, at the very least, should be able to close their damned mouths.
