I never paid attention to the guys. I was always here for the stories and writing and less of the networking. If a guy posted a story I liked a comment would be the only way I'd talk to them.
If I did interact it was through the journal entries.
Those were the days! I don't want to keep complaining since it's already been a few years since the change lol. But seriously, it was so different back then.
@ princess;
I will! haha

Wooow! People are crazy omg. That's really sweet of your boyfriend though to support your writing that way. But yeah, not sure if things have changed with the lack of males on this site, but I remember these poor men would pretty much get attacked by some of the users.
I found it hilarious when my boyfriend made his account to read my stuff. Even to this day he still get's private messages. Pretty funny, considering he doesnt even know HOW to check them, only navigate story pages rotflmao
I remember the good ol' Mibba days! And yes, every girl and her mother/sister/aunt would flock towards any "male" account! It was awful. I had two male friends join Mibba but after a few weeks their accounts were deactivated because of how crazy some girls were getting.
I also miss how close everyone was back in the day. Everyone seemed to know everyone and stories didn't go months without being read. Everyone left comments. It was great!
First off, it sounds like a Catfish. And I watch that show a lot. But props to you, because that's a lot of drama and aggravation, it seems. I probably would have been skeptical of everything.
The whole thing about the girl faking her death reminds me of the episode with Tracie Thoms (she played Joanne in Rent). She befriended two friends on Twiter, and one of the friends died. But it was all the one girl, and she just "killed" off her other fake profile.
People are weird.
I have met people on the Internet, which I know I shouldn't. But I've never been catfished, luckily. I would be so pissed if that had ever happened.
