Okay I thought I commented about this. I hate colorism, I truly do. My dad used to get the same shit told to him, like they'd tell him he's too dark and would make fun of him when he'd stand next to my mom -- she's got more of the Spanish influence when it comes to skin tone, I inherited the same mess -- and it's just hell. My father legit wears long sleeves to the beach because he doesn't want to get tanner. It's so fucked up and I hope to God that everyone stops that shit, soon.

You're beautiful, you don't look fat at all. You have both an innocent look, but also an aggressive one. Like if someone was to try and cross you, you'd shut it down quick. You look classy, and very youthful at the same time. You're beautiful Lina and don't ever let any one else ever tell you otherwise.

You are NOT fat, Lina! I love seeing all your pictures on Insta and there is no way in hell that you can be defined as fat. Promise. Arms

It's truly baffling to me how colorism and the standard of fair skin being the better/more attractive skin is still a thing in so many (including my own) cultures. Like homahgwad.

Dark skin is not a crime. Dark skin is beautiful.
Yes exactly! And I truly hate it when someone said "for a dark colored person, she/he is actually good looking." What is the point of that?! Everyone is beautiful in their own color.
