Yea, Breaking Benjamin has some really great songs to draw inspirations from. Very Happy
Hmm... I wonder if you would like music from channels on YouTube like Tasty Network; they have some amazing artists that I love when I am trying to be creative.

None of this is my style, but I have used a Breaking Benjamin song before. :)

All my stories have a musical soundtrack that goes with them in my youtube playlists/my music. Generally Chillstep/Metal.

I would highly recommend it! Especially Dissection, they're one of my favorite bands :)

Ah, I don't think I know any of these bands but if they inspire you to write and create amazing pieces I think it's awesome. Very Happy I have heard great things about Swedish Death Metal bands though... maybe I should check a few of these guys out.

I'm a metalhead and most of my stories are influenced by black/death metal songs. Dreaming in Red is named after the song of the same name by Dismember, Maha Kali is named after the song of the same name by Dissection, and Somnia is inspired by the song "Angel's Blood" by Grotesque. I just realized they're all Swedish death metal bands, lol. Music is my #1 source of inspiration outside of my own imagination, probably.

Yes! I can't say I know EVERYTHING about them but I had been obsessed with some of their songs. In fact, I think I came across them on YouTube when I was listening to MCR.

I listen to all sorts of genres... I just can't seem to make up my mind but game soundtracks are all amazing! Have you heard of a game called Journey? Their soundtrack is phenomenal!

Actually you might be onto something; I read a paper a while back that said game soundtracks are great for studying and focusing because they are created to hook you in and keep you focused while not distracting you from the game. Thought that was pretty cool.
And I have only heard a bit of the Skyrim soundtrack, but I loved the epic sounds of Dragonborn. And Ludo and MCR...guuuuuhhh brings me back. Very Happy

I love writing stories/poems while listening to the Skyrim soundtrack. My mind feels so relaxed and clear when I do that. But bands that inspire me are Ludo and My Chemical Romance.
