Yea... the story is called Breaking the Fourth, it's on this list I am calling me "Return List".

Basically, I am currently on hiatus with the mainstream social medias cuz it was just stressing me out and the return list is my checklist of things to get through during my hiatus.

    Thanks Smile

    1. That reminds me I gotta go re-do some layouts thanks to that issue
    2. I hope your cough goes away soon.
    3. Is that the story you want me to check out?
    4. Hmm, I'll have to try the exercise thing. Sometimes I read but half the time I struggle to put it down if it's good and that kind of defeats the purpose. But yeah, normally I just turn on a TV show I watch and dim the light on my laptop all the way down so I can't see and just hear, but it's not been working lately so ugh.

First off, I'm glad things are going well with your job! But I am sorry about your insomnia... that sucks.

    1. uuuhhh, I mean, you can check my current story, but it's kinda, uh, "naked" right now due to a certain 3rd Party hosting baloney going on.

    2. I am... peachy. Have a horrible stubborn cough, but not bad.

    3. Trying...trying being the key word. Updating is on my "Return List"

    4. I have a few... I've tried them all. lmfao I have difficulties sleeping and staying asleep so I've done my research...

For me, what's working currently is exercising a bit an hour before sleep. Nothing crazy, just something like stretching, yoga, light pilates. Just something to kinda quiet the mind productively and also get a little serotonin boost at the same time. You can take melatonin thirty minute before, and power down everything by then. No phones, tv, computer--- I learned that the light the electronics emit mimics Blue light just like the morning sun, which inhibits natural melatonin production.
also... Reading helps... like maybe for school or something. The eye movement of reading mimics the movement your eyes make during REM sleep.

I have loads more, if you wanna trade tips, I am all for it!!

You should look up some guided meditations on YouTube at first, those help a lot!

I try to do both of those, and while it's easy to write down my thoughts I find it a lot harder to meditate. Any tips?

The only thing that actually stops my racing thoughts is either writing them all out or meditating. Meditating is really helpful for sleep.
