That's honestly terrible. I wish there was something to do to get your mom to stop helping her, because if she keeps getting the response (and money) she wants, she's never going to stop. As for her children, I really think someone needs to do something. They do not deserve to live like that.

Then she needs to stay at a psychiatric facility for a few weeks cuz that's just manipulative and wrong. Smh

The last time my mom tried to kick her out she took a bunch of pills and went to the hospital. It never works because my mom is so afraid to lose her

What she needs is a healthy dose of reality. At one point I was so bad my mother didn't talk to me. I was homeless, drug addicted and unmedicated. The streets change people. She has to also realize mom won't always be there to bail her out sometimes that's how you get people to grow up. Stop enabling them and giving them what they want, then they will sink deeper or figure out a way to get themselves up. It sounds cold but it works.

We all suffer from bipolar disorder so she should know just how hard it is to have a mental illness but I think she just doesn't care. If she can use it to her advantage she will.

I think its heartless of your sister to use your mother's pain for her own personal gain. As a person currently on medication who has gotten her life on track again; mental illness is not something you choose. It's not fun and it is completely detrimental to building healthy social relationships. I wish your sister was old enough and wise enough to get that.

Well that's good for the oldest. I hope they can get out of that place and live somewhere that is not so toxic.

I think it will end up hurting them in the long run. The oldest is mainly with his dad though luckily.

Omg. That's ridiculous! That is not a nice living environment for her kids. I just hope they aren't too traumatized by all the stunts that she pulls.

Especially my kids. I don't want them growing up around someone who will casually just say, "I'm just gonna kill myself. I can't do this." She'll say it over simple things! Like if someone tells her to get a job! Did I mention she's older than me? She's 26! She does this all the time, in front of her own kids!

Good for you for cutting your sister out of your life. You or your kids don't need someone like her around. Just ignore all the bad stuff she says about you.
